I want to upgrade sound in my 1973 Coupe. Have already a "vintige look" new stereo in the car.

Is there any underseats activ sub bas that fits in W114 coupe?
It looks so tight....

in my /8 sedan I installed the Pioneer TS-WX120A under the front seat. It fits perfect but I don't know if will fit in a coupe. The dimensions of the sub are 28 x 7 x 20 cm.

I see on pictures there is several subbas under the seat but all of them are sedan. Since coupe have lower roof I guess aven seats are lower, and thats why i am afraid that it will not get place.

Jes, the seats are lower. I think approximately 2-3 cm.

Does it work well have it installed in the trunk? I mean, there is no opening in from the trunk in to the coupe, to allow bas sound/ frequencies to " come in"

in the middle form the rear shelf is an opening for an loudspeaker.
You can´t locate bass!
Thats the reason why a sub works for example in a spare wheel recess.

I know that bas can be loccated almost everywhere since location of it is hard to defind. But I been reading that there must be a "opening" , and I has no idea that there was one allreday on the coupe.
I have to take a look at my car.

Then it wount be any problem att all.

But, is there any wood board above, in the coupe, that have to be drilled or cut?

In the rearshelf is an perforation by the sheet and the board for the LS. Use an Cutter for the board and a hammer for the sheet (and spare your rear window!)

Hello fellows. I order this one, its lowest sub Pioneer have, and for Ok price from this site.

I will try to install it under the seat, if it soes not work it will be placed in the trunk as you guys sugges me already.
