Hello- I am appealing for help with my 1971 250/8, chassis 114-010-22-056158, engine no 114-920-22-027854. My car is off the road and decaying because i cannot find correct ignition cables for my car. i have tried to buy from Niemoller and Speedteile but they only have a Beru set, ZEF364, which is wrongly listed by Beru for this car- in fact this set fits M110 engines.

Did you actually try to fit ZEF 364 at your car?

ZEF 364 is listed by Beru as suitable for you car (series 114-010). For the M110 (carburettor and electronic ignition), the number of the set is ZEF 473. The differences are the plugs at the distributor and some cable lengths. Whereas the M110 has (according to the Beru list) "sawtooth" plugs, the 250 has DIN plugs.
